Bobby Lagana took a drive through the Burger King drive-thru in Baton Rouge Thursday.
IHRA drivers are “having it their way” at Burger King restaurants all across Louisiana this week in anticipation of the Mardi Gras Nitro Jam this Saturday and Sunday at State Capitol Raceway in Port Allen.
Top Fuel star Bobby Lagana had his race-winning dragster on display Thursday in Baton Rouge as he signed autographs and posed for pictures throughout the afternoon. Local radio station WYNK was also on hand giving away free merchandise and tickets to this weekend’s event.

Fans enjoyed meeting Lagana and seeing his Top Fuel dragster - some even getting a first-hand experience.
Lagana even took a leisurely stroll through the Burger King drive-thru during the display much to the enjoyment of local fans. It was an amusing sight and a vastly different experience than the one fans will see this weekend as Lagana takes the same dragster and reaches speeds in excess of 300 miles-per-hour on the Louisiana quarter-mile.

Fans who want to see more cars and stars of the IHRA Nitro Jam series can stop by Burger King locations in Prairieville and Denham Springs on Friday to meet Louisiana racers Al Suggs Jr. and Earl Folse. WYNK will once again be on display giving away merchandise and tickets to this weekend’s race.

WYNK will be at all three displays this week.
Folse will have his car on display at the Burger King in Prairieville from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Suggs will roll out his wild Pro Modified truck at the restaurant located in Denham Springs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
