In advance of one of the biggest motorsports events in the state the weekend of June 29-30, the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Nitro Jam series is offering up special discounts for fans of all ages as the series gears up for the NAPA Auto Parts Nitro Jam presented by Good Vibrations Motorsports and Cricket Wireless at Rocky Mountain Raceways. 

The 2012 NAPA Auto Parts Nitro Jam will feature professional competition in four nitro-powered classes including Pro Fuel Dragster, AMSOIL Prostalgia Nitro Funny Car, Fuel Altered and Nitro Harley in addition to a “monster” exhibition show featuring the Utah debut of the world’s biggest drag race between the Grave Digger and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle monster trucks and the return of the 30,000 horsepower Shockwave jet-powered semi. 

Tickets for the June 29-30 event at Rocky Mountain Raceways are $25 for adults and only $10 for children ages 6-12. Children 5 and under are free. 

And to help provide even more savings, Nitro Jam has partnered with NAPA Auto Parts in presenting a special $5 off coupon for the Friday, June 29 Nitro Jam show at your Wasatch Front NAPA Auto Parts store. In addition Nitro Jam is also offering $5 off any day if you purchase your tickets in advance at www.nitrojam.com .  

The two-day NAPA Auto Parts Nitro Jam will feature two rounds each night of non-stop nitro-powered action featuring four professional classes and exhibitions. Fans will also see the best sportsman racers in the west during the finals of the sportsman competition Saturday night. 

Each ticket not only gets you a seat to the most exciting motorsports show in the country, it also grants fans an all-access pass to the pits and an opportunity to rub elbows with the stars of Nitro Jam during the Fan Fest Pit Party. The Fan Fest Pit Party features activities for fans both young and old and an autograph session with Grave Digger driver Randy Brown and the stars of Nitro Jam. 

Fan Fest gets underway at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Nitro Jam is slated to begin at 8 p.m. on Friday and 7 p.m. on Saturday.
