For the second time in three weeks Nitro Jam will be center stage at one of the biggest Monster Jam events of the year as nitro veteran and former Nitro Jam champion Jay Turner and his collection of Nitro Harleys will be on display at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for the New Orleans Monster Jam this Saturday from 2-5 p.m. 

Turner, from North Carolina, will be joined by Louisiana native Randal Andras as the pair of extreme riders put on display two of the fastest machines on two wheels for the Louisiana fans and bring attention to another incredible show May 4-5 when Nitro Jam returns to Louisiana at State Capitol Raceway in Baton Rouge.  

The Mardi Gras Nitro Jam at State Capitol Raceway will feature a huge lineup of nitro talent including Pro Fuel Dragsters, Prostalgia™ Nitro Funny Cars, Fuel Altereds and Nitro Harleys – modified motorcycles that feed on nitromethane and can reach speeds in excess of 220 miles per hour in the quarter-mile. The event will also feature side-by-side 300 mph jet dragsters, the 30,000 horsepower Shockwave jet semi and the ‘monster’ showdown between Monster Jam star Grave Digger with former world champion Randy Brown behind the wheel facing off against Joey Parnell in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
