If you are a fan of nitro drag racing, then you can’t miss out on two of the biggest Nitro Jam events of the season March 25-26 at Southwestern International Raceway and April 1-2 at San Antonio Raceway. 

Already a full two races into the season, the drivers comprising Nitro Jam’s professional classes are already in the midst of a heated championship battle and that will only continue to escalate when the nitro-powered drag racing series heads west for back-to-back events in Arizona and Texas.  

Beginning with Nitro Jam’s first ever trip to the state of Arizona March 25-26 for the Arizona Nitro Jam at Southwestern International Raceway followed immediately by a return to San Antonio Raceway for the San Antonio Nitro Jam April 1-2, the two events will pack dozens of nitro-powered machines into two days of championship racing along with jet-powered mayhem, wheelstanders and a drag racing first as the world’s most recognizable racing machine - Grave Digger - brings its 11-foot tall, 12,000 pound frame to the quarter-mile for a showdown between the equally impressive 30,000 horsepower Shockwave jet semi.

Both events will feature four thrilling nitro classes including the kings of the sport, 320 mile per hour Top Fuel dragsters. Through two events the championship pairing of Bobby Lagana Jr. and Bruce Litton has produced incredible racing including dozens of side-by-side 300 mph passes making for one of the best shows in motorsports today. 

The two events will also feature an east versus west Funny Car showdown between the quickest and fastest nostalgia machines in the country in Nitro Jam’s new Prostalgia Nitro Funny Car division. Wrapping up the nitro action will be the insane riders of the 220 mph Nitro Harley class and the out-of-control Nostalgia Fuel Altered division.

And as if that wasn’t enough, the two Nitro Jam events in Tucson and San Antonio will also feature another drag racing first as the most recognizable name in all of motorsports - Grave Digger - takes to the track in a one-on-one battle between another monster machine, the 30,000 horsepower Shockwave jet semi. 

The legendary green and black machine with its menacing red headlights will test its mettle on the quarter-mile in a showdown with the most powerful and exciting exhibition vehicle in drag racing today. 

And that’s still not all. The two Nitro Jam events will also feature a showdown between 300 mph jet dragsters as Dick Rosberg and “Jersey Thunder” takes on the first lady of drag racing Jill Canuso and the “Queen of Diamonds” and both shows will conclude with the incredible show of Ken Nelson’s “Cool Bus” wheelstanding school bus as he powers down the quarter-mile on only his rear wheels.

And all of this can be seen for some of the lowest prices in all of motorsports as the fastest show on earth travels to Southwestern International Raceway in Arizona March 25-26 and San Antonio Raceway in Texas April 1-2 for two of the biggest and most over-the-top Nitro Jam events of the year. 

Through two events Nitro Jam fans have already witnessed some incredible drag racing action including several “did that really just happen” moments that have left fans breathless. From Nitro Harley rider Jay Turner tumbling off his bike at over 150 mph, to Top Fuel ace Bruce Litton switching lanes at over 300 mph and Mike McIntire slapping the wall in his quest for victory, you never know what you will see at Nitro Jam.
